Speech Teacher

The Speech Teacher is responsible for providing speech-language therapy services to students as indicated in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and serves as a member of the multidisciplinary team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the school program and administrators. This includes but is not limited to: preparing correspondence, reports, and paperwork, as directed; answer telephone and direct incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner; Greet and direct visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure that visitors entering the building possess appropriate identification and/or provide visitors with visitor badges. Maintain sign-in/out sheet for visitors entering/exiting the building; perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, scanning, data entry, and filing.

Education: High School diploma or equivalency.
Work Experience: Two years administrative/clerical experience, preferably in a Human Services or health care setting
